There seems to be a trend at the moment for writing out Scripture (books of the Bible - not just random texts).
Yesterday I received the nice A4 notebook I'd ordered online and I aim to write out the whole book of Romans! My favourite verses from the book are both from chapter 5 and they are:
Verse 6
For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
Verse 8
But God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Two beautiful verses which show our spiritual state and how God, despite our sin, (falling short of His glory - Romans 3:23), came to restore us to the relationship with Him, He created us for!

How did you find doing it?
Did you do a bit every day?
Did you only write once a week?
Did you use a particular type of pen?
Did you find your spiritual life improved?
I am going to use a basic bic blue pen (I've seen some videos of people using special pens, different colours for different things - atm I'm going to write it out, as I said, with a blue bic pen).
As I wrote chapter 1 this morning, I thought - if we have our Bibles taken from us, this could be a way of preserving God's word! It's just a thought!
